เมื่อวันที่ 11 ตุลาคม 2568 ที่ผ่านมา สมาคมนักเขียนแห่งประเทศไทยร่วมกับสถานทูตอินเดียจัดเสวนาพิเศษ “สีสันของอินเดีย” ณ เวที Author’s Salon ในงานหนังสือแห่งชาติที่ศูนย์การประชุมแห่งชาติสิริกิติ์ งานนี้ได้รับเกียรติจากมาดามปรัชญา ซิงห์ ภริยาท่านเอกอัครราชทูตอินเดียประจำประเทศไทย ซึ่งร่วมเป็นแขกรับเชิญกิตติมศักดิ์ในการเสวนา เริ่มต้นงานด้วยการแสดงระบำกถัก อันเป็นการร่ายรำแบบโบราณถวายเทพเจ้า
โดยมีอิงครัตน์ ศิวเมธีวิทย์ ครูนาฏศิลป์ชื่อดังจาก SVCC ที่สร้างความประทับใจและความมีชีวิตชีวาให้กับผู้เข้าร่วมงานเป็นอย่างมาก บนเวทีนั้น มาดามปรัชญา ซิงห์ ได้แสดงวิสัยทัศน์และความรู้รอบด้านเกี่ยวกับวรรณกรรมทั่วโลก อาหาร ภาษา ศิลปะ วัฒนธรรม และเทศกาลของอินเดีย แม้ว่าจะเป็นเวทีขนาดเล็ก แต่ก็ดึงดูดความสนใจและเสียงปรบมือจากผู้ร่วมงานได้อย่างกึกก้อง
การเสวนาครั้งนี้ดำเนินรายการโดยคุณปริยาภา อมรวณิชสาร นักวิเคราะห์นโยบายและแผนจากกระทรวงวัฒนธรรม ผู้ร่วมงานได้รับเกียรติจากแขกผู้มีเกียรติหลายท่าน เช่น คุณณัฐกร วุฒิชัยพรกุล นายกสมาคมผู้จัดพิมพ์แห่งประเทศไทย คุณนรีภพ จิระโพธิรัตน์ นายกสมาคมนักเขียนแห่งประเทศไทย รวมถึงบุคคลสำคัญอื่นๆ อย่างคุณTetsuko Wiberg คุณแพท ธนิษฐา แดนศิลป์ อาณิก ศุระสรางค์ คฑาวุฒิ เกนุ้ย และจักรกฤต โยมพยอม การจัดเสวนานี้สะท้อนถึงความร่วมมือที่ดีระหว่างไทยและอินเดียในการแลกเปลี่ยนวัฒนธรรม ซึ่งช่วยสร้างความเข้าใจที่ลึกซึ้งยิ่งขึ้นระหว่างสองประเทศอย่างดีเยี่ยม
On October 11th, the Writers’ Association of Thailand collaborated with the Indian Embassy to host a vibrant event titled “Colors of India” at the Author’s Salon stage during the Book Expo Thailand 2025 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. The gathering was graced by the esteemed presence of Madame Pragjya Singh, the spouse of the Indian Ambassador to Thailand, serving as a distinguished guest speaker.
The event kicked off with a mesmerizing Kathak dance performance by Ingkarat Sivamatheewit, a celebrated instructor from SVCC, dazzling the audience and setting an energetic tone for the evening. On stage, Madame Pragjya Singh captivated attendees with her insightful perspectives and extensive knowledge of global literature, cuisine, language, art, culture, and Indian festivals. Her eloquence and vision resonated deeply, drawing enthusiastic applause despite the intimate setting.
Expertly moderated by Pariyapa Amornwanichsarn, a Plan and Policy analyst from the Ministry of Culture, the seminar featured the participation of distinguished guests like Natthakorn Wuttichaipornkul, President of the Publishers and Booksellers Association of Thailand (PUBAT), and Nareepop Jiraphothirat, President of the Writers’ Association of Thailand. Notable figures such as Tetsuko Wiberg, Tanistha Dansilp, Anik Surasarang, Katawut Kanui, and Jakkrit Yompayom also attended.
This extraordinary event not only showcased the rich cultural heritage of India but also underscored the strong and growing cooperation between Thailand and India in cultural exchange. By fostering deeper understanding and mutual appreciation between the two nations, the evening set a powerful precedent for future collaborations. As the audience departed with inspired hearts and broadened horizons, the “Colors of India” signaled a celebration of diversity and unity, leaving an indelible mark and a promise of more enriching cross-cultural interactions to come.
